Men’s Retreats

Discernment Retreat - Mass with Archbishop Chaput

Discernment Retreat – Mass with Archbishop Chaput (former Archbishop of Denver) – 2010

What types of Men’s Retreats do you offer?

Advent Retreats and Discernment Retreats.

Men’s Discernment retreats are for single men (ages 18 and older) who are interested in discerning God’s call to the Priesthood.  These retreats are focused on discernment, questions, vocation stories, and chances of prayer & discernment.  See below for the listing of our upcoming discernment retreats.

Men’s Advent retreats are an opportunity for single men (ages 18 and older) to prepare for the Lord’s coming at Christmas.  Our next Advent Retreat will be December 16, 2012.  This retreat will include time for prayer and preparation.  While discernment is not the main focus of the retreat, it will be touched on as a part of preparing ourselves for the Lord’s coming.

What do you do on a Men’s Discernment Retreat?

A Men’s Discernment Retreat includes prayer, adoration and presentations.  Join priests and seminarians as they share their own experiences of answering the call to serve Christ and the Catholic Church.  Some retreats include Q&A or a reflection with Archbishop Aquila.

The retreat is an excellent opportunity to know more about the life of a priest and to learn how to discern if God is truly calling.  Additionally, it’s a great way to make new friends with others who are trying to understand their calling.
