At what point in your life did your faith come alive? How did this happen?
I haven’t been Catholic my entire life and when I reached my sophomore year in high school I was confirmed into the Church. Later that year I became head server at my parish and that’s when I really started enjoying the faith! I started understanding the faith more and enjoyed going to Mass! I also enjoyed telling others I was Catholic or living my faith and showing others through my actions I was Catholic. It helped change my life a lot!

What was one of the most important things that helped you take the step into seminary?
An important thing that helped me take the step towards the seminary was attending daily Mass instead of sitting around and doing nothing at my house. It showed me I needed to do something in life that would help me live my life for God and by going to Mass I realized this was a great path to take! It introduced a lot of things into my life like a greater prayer life, better friendships, and happier life!

What do your family and friends think about you studying to be a priest?
My family is very supportive of my decision of entering the seminary to study to be a priest. Most of my friends are supportive as well; some find it very interesting and always ask questions about my life at the seminary.

What do you enjoy most about the seminary?
I enjoy the relationships I have made with other seminarians and how supportive we are of each other! The brotherhood here at St.Greg’s is very strong and we all enjoy each others company!

How do you like to spend your free time?
I like to spend my free time listening to music and just sitting outside enjoying nature. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, or talking to my brothers.
